Online exhibitions: Charlie Tweed and Stephen Irwin
27.07.2010
We are delighted to announce that we will be presenting on animateprojects.org the works of two arresting young artists, Charlie Tweed and Stephen Irwin this Autumn.
Charlie Tweed will be presenting three video works, Notes Part I, II & III, to coincide with his solo exhibition at Spike Island, Bristol. An essay by Spike Island Curator Marie-Anne McQuay will accompany the online exhibition. Charlie Tweed showed Notes I at the ArtSway/SCAN/Animate Projects co-curated screening programme at ArtSway earlier this year.
Stephen Irwin will be premiering his latest work, Horse Glue, an ambitious entwinement of two startling films within a single-screen. Accompanied by an essay by curator and writer, Angela Kingston. Stephen recently won Best Film at the British Animation Award for his astonishing AnimateTV film The Black Dog’s Progress.
