We are pleased to present Thomson and Craighead’s latest work, A Short Film about War, on animateprojects.org. The film is a documentary artwork, made from information sourced from the internet and follows on from Flat Earth, made for AnimateTV in 2007.
We commissioned curator and writer Lisa Le Feuvre to write an essay on the work, which you can either read on animateprojects.org or download as an eBook from Proboscis’s Diffusion site.
A Short Film about War is also showing as a two-screen installation at FACT, Liverpool in a group exhibition entitled My War – Identity and Appropriation under War Conditions, from 12 March to 30 May.
